On April 26, 2024, the FoodLAND partner INAT held a training course with women farmers of Jendouba, Tunisia, on the osmotic dehydration and solar drying systems that have been developed in FoodLAND. The training focused on best practices for fruit and vegetable drying and using the solar dryer.

This solar dryer has been conceived with the aim of provisioning a low-cost and eco-friendly technology that will help in the conservation of fresh fruits and vegetables by processing them under controlled conditions.
