The FoodLAND partner University of Nairobi team exhibited novel quinoa products on 27-28 July 2023, at the Kitui Agricultural Show and Trade Fair. Exhibitors as well as visitors to the show tested different combinations of quinoa at the Ministry of Health Stand where the FoodLAND team was exhibiting the products. Food preparation of the quinoa-based products and visitors to the stand were able to perform sensory evaluation. The value of quinoa for the ASAL county was also explained through a poster presentation.
