Nutreal Ltd. is a limited company registered in Uganda in 2010, by two female founding directors, which produces and markets affordable, innovative nutrient-enhanced foods using locally produced raw materials. The company specializes in producing and marketing nutrient-enhanced foods, made from locally grown crops. The current product range includes: nutrient-dense flours for porridge (both cooking and instant) and sauce; nutrient-dense cookies and; snacks/breakfast cereal bars.
Role in Foodland
Nutreal Ltd. is contributing mainly in tasks related to food processing, both enhancing primary processing of food raw materials and enhancing secondary processing of novel food products. (WP4, WP5)
