This government institution promotes technologies that enhanced food productivity; and also ensures that Kenyan people have access to enough quality food. The Directorate in particular promotes aquaculture both in urban and peri- urban.
Role in Foodland
The main participation of the Ministry of Agriculture Livestock and Fisheries of Kenya is promoting aquaculture technologies, and contributing to the different tasks related to these technologies. (WP2, WP3, WP4, WP5, WP6)
