The GIE Zoyout Dir Beni Mellal (Morocco) is an economic interest group, with the overall objective of developing fruit arboriculture both in rainfed and irrigated areas by contributing to the development of the entire regional agricultural potential. It is focused on olive oil, starting from the management of olive trees, to the olive oil production and canning.
Role in Foodland
Its expertise in the field of olive growing and its capacity to mobilise the stakeholders of the region (farmers, authorities, cooperatives, families) are being used for the tasks related to this food product.(WP4, WP5)
