Ethiopian Agricultural Transformation Agency Tigrai, ATA, was established to support and enhance the impact of three primary approaches deemed to catalyze not only the growth but of the transformation of Ethiopia’s agriculture sector: the Agricultural Transformation Agenda, Agricultural Commercialization Clusters (ACC) Initiative, and the Livestock and Fisheries Sector Development Project (LFSDP).
Role in Foodland
- Ethiopian Agricultural Transformation Agency Tigrai is leading the design, implementation, test and validation of new gardening systems, such as hydroponic and drip irrigation systems, which aim to strengthen the sustainability and productivity of rural and peri-urban, individual and community gardens, and foster circular economy principles (WP4 and WP5).
- Ethiopian Agricultural Transformation Agency Tigrai is involved in most of the tasks of WP3, WP4, WP5.
